With a wide selection of eye care products, including designer frames, sunglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Erik Burgwald can also detect and manage most eye care problems. His trained and friendly team will also make sure you have what you need to see the world clearly.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

During a comprehensive eye exam, Dr. Erik Burgwald will determine if you need a prescription and check for common eye diseases and problems. Annual eye exams not only help Dr. Burgwald monitor your eye health over long periods of time, but eyes can also show early signs of other health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.

Pediatric Eye Exams

Infants between 6 months and 1 year are eligible for a free eye exam in our offices through InfantSee.

Dr. Burgwald can determine if a child has excessive or unequal amounts of nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism, if they have correct eye movement ability or other eye health problems. One in every 10 children is at risk from undiagnosed eye and vision problems. Many children at risk for eye and vision problems have a chance of those problems being prevented or corrected when caught early enough.

Management of Ocular Diseases

With state-of-the-art equipment, Jones Optical can manage diseases like Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Cataracts with great precision. An early diagnosis will help each patient receive the treatment needed to have better outcomes.

Dry Eye

10-percent of the United States population suffers from dry eye, but with proper attention, this condition can be cured. Schedule an appointment to be evaluated by Dr. Burgwald.

Eye Emergencies

Dr. Burgwald will treat eye emergencies, such as pink or red eyes and foreign bodies in the eye in office. Walk-in appointment are available.

LASIK & Refractive Surgery Co-Management

With extensive experience with post-operative LASIK care, Dr. Burgwald can provide medical evaluation and management as the cornea heals.

Orthokeratology (CRT & VST)

With Orthokeratology, contact lenses temporarily reshape the the front surface of the eye to correct mild and moderate amounts of nearsightedness and astigmatism. For an evaluation, call Jones Optical.

Sports and Specialty Eyewear Fitting

Give your family the protection they need in the sun, on the field or while they do yard work or house construction. With specialty eye protection, you will protect your eyes from harmful UV rays and and foreign matter that could damage your eyes.
